You CAN rez on the Z-axis and accept your rez on the bottom floor.

They are right under the stairs, you do not as far as I know have to kill the serpent dragon thing in order to find them because they wont spawn behind him.

Comment by Ive only seen 1 chest spawn in the main rooms, i kept seeing other people go over to the door behind the alter when the stone guardians are and pull one and just die. I'm pretty sure that wasn't by design - I'm thinking a stealthed GM stepped in and transported me out. I know this is a heavily farmed area now because the drop rates are so high in comparison to other areas I mean so maybe GM's are starting to monitor it now I got one key and about 3 Motes of Harmony and about 5 greens.

First spawn would be when you first enter the ruins you would turn right towards where the spider are when you enter that room from the entrance the cache can spawn at each side of the entrance. The third spawn would be behind the elite spider which are easily solo'd by a Windwalker Monk. Edit: Confirmed another can be found when you just enter at the shrine between the two first Quilen statues.

So far I've seen 4 caches that can be found without entering the locked areas. Edit2: When you're running down into the ruins when you reach the first turn to continue go down to the right there can spawn a chest at the left side at the Mogu Statues. So far that would be Caches that can be found in the area that are not locked for people who're not on the quests at honored and revered.

Comment by Groklin If you go to a door, die at the door, having a mob kill you you can res on the other side of the door. Carry on and proceed as normal. If you go straight, you will have two doors to die at, will have to kill the dragon Milau and the chests will spawn there as well, 2 chests I believe if you kill Milau, who isn't that hard.

Hall of Statues is your immediate right after entering the vaults. I'm at revered standing if that makes any difference. I clicked the achievement pop-up at the bottom of my screen to read the description, and my loot bag disappeared, along with the cache itself, and the key in my bag.

It's very similar to the problem that people are having with moving while looting a cache. So, for anyone reading this that has a key and hasn't used it yet I have a ticket open to Blizzard right now, but it's a three day wait, so I'll have to come back and edit this post after they respond.

Edit: I just got my ticket response, and as I expected, they're not restoring any items to me. Apparently they went through game logs and couldn't even find any evidence of my character even opening the cache. All the more reason to be careful, I suppose.
